How often do you get your flowers in store?

We get our flowers in fresh 2-3 times each week.
This is how we keep a constant turn over of fresh product readily available, and provide customers with the opportunity to order in special requests frequently.

Where do you source your flowers from?

We try and buy as much as we can from local Gippsland growers, including but not limited to growers in Sarsfield, Denison, and Toorloo Arm. These farms can be highly seasonal, so whatever we cannot get from them we source from our wholesalers at the Melbourne Flower Market. Produce found at this market is sourced from local Australian growers, often those in the Dandenong Ranges.

While we try and avoid it, some popular flower varieties (such as Ecuadorian roses) are only available from international growers. When these flowers are requested, we do ethically import them.

What are your Delivery Locations?

We deliver daily to Bairnsdale, Wy Yung, Eastwood, Lindenow and Lindenow South, Mount Taylor, Granite Rock, Sarsfield, Bruthen,
Eagle Point, Paynesville, Swan Reach, Nicholson, and Metung.

We can deliver to Omeo, via Dysons Buses. Please speak to our team for more info.

Please Note: House of Bloom do not deliver to Raymond Island , Fernbank, Meerlieu, Banksia Peninsula or Lakes Entrance.

can i order flowers for delivery outside of bairnsdale (and VIC)?

Absolutely! We are proud Interflora members.

*Please note; this service is only available in-store or via telephone. Not online.

What delivery method do you use?

All of our local floral deliveries are made by our House of Bloom team members.
They are trained in how to look after your order and ensure it’s safe delivery. They are aware of procedures if the recipient isn’t home and always leave fresh flowers in some water to drink.
Look out for our florist van as they deliver fresh gifts across East Gippsland!

Do you supply corporate arrangements?

Yes we do!
We love providing fresh floral arrangements to local Salons, Restaurants, Cafes, Offices, Reception spaces, Hotels and Retailers.
Arrangements are created using different varieties and colours each time you order, and include complimentary vase hire & delivery.

Request a weekly or fortnightly arrangement, or simply phone us to order at your own convenience.
With prices starting from $70, we work with you on creating a touch of elegance for your space within your chosen budget and style.

Is there a minimum budget required for my wedding?

We do not require minimum quantities or spends for weddings or events.
Let us know what your budget is when you request your quote, and we will work with you to make sure we stay within that amount. Revisions can also be made to initial quotes, so if you aren’t completely satisfied with something, it’s not set in stone!

Wedding flowers; what’s in season?

Many popular wedding varieties are seasonal, such as Peonies, David Austins, and Orchids.
Whilst some varieties can be imported internationally when out of (local) season,
we prefer to remain ethical and design from what is readily available in season.

how do i take care of my flowers?

You’ve received some beautiful flowers as a gift! But what now? You always want your fresh flowers to live for as long as possible, so here’s some care tips:

1. Give them fresh water! You should water a box arrangement every 1-2 days, and empty and refill your (clean!) vases every 3-4 days.

2. If you have a bouquet, you can recut the ends of the stems when you change their water. Cut off 1-2cm of stem at a 45 degree angle.

3. Keep your fresh flowers away from windows and direct sunlight, and keep them away from heat sources such as heaters, fireplaces, and microwaves. They like to be cool!

4. If you notice a dead flower in your arrangement, carefully remove it.
